Karin Pirc, M.D., Ph.D.

In addition to receiving a Ph.D. in Psychology, Dr. Karin Pirc studied medicine at the Hamburg University Clinic in Germany, where she became a licensed physician in 1983. In 1985 she opened the first Ayurveda Health Center in Germany where she has consulted with more than 20,000 people from all parts of the world. In 2006 she became the first individual outside of India to be awarded the prestigious Indian “Global Hakim Ajmal Khan Award” for Best Ayurveda Physician 2006, given for exceptional achievements in the field of Ayurveda. Dr. Pirc is also a mother of 4 and author of 8 books on Maharishi Ayurveda for practical everyday health and well being.
